Iraqi FM to participate in 77th session of U.N. General Assembly

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday reported that Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in New York to take part in the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Spokesman to the Iraqi foreign Ministry Ahmad-al Sahaf told INA that foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in the United States, New York, to participate in the 77th session General Assembly of the United Nations.

The Minister is also expected to meet with a number of senior officials and foreign ministers of counties there, aiming to discuss the bilateral relations and the contributions to the reconstruction of Iraq’s infrastructure.

The Next session of the U.N. General Assembly will be attended by more than 100 heads of state and more than 50 heads of government from all over the world.
