President of PUK conveys deepest condolences over passing Britain’s Queen

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Bafel Talabani conveyed his deepest condolences to the people of the United Kingdom over the passing of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II. 

 

Britain’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, the nation’s figurehead and a towering presence on the world stage for 7o years, died at Scotland’s Balmoral Castle, on Thursday aged 96.

“I would like to share my deepest sorrow for the passing of her majesty the queen Elizabeth II, the greatest and longest-serving monarch of modern times,” President Talabani said in a statement.

“Her contribution to the world over the last 70 years is unmatched, her majesty was a beacon for all that is good, just, honorable, and true in Great Britain and humanity as a whole.” He said.

“Her majesty’s service to her and all people in the most difficult times, define her majesty’s noble leadership.” He continued.

Talabani further stated that the Queen’s Majesty will be missed by all and the legacy shall live forever just as her majesty will forever be in our hearts.

“I convey my deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the British Government, and the people of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.” Talabani quoted.
