IED bomb targets Ezidkhan force Commander convoy in Sinjar

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — An IED bomb blew up on the convoy of the Commander of the Ezidkhan force in Sinjar district on Wednesday with no casualties.

Khudida Chuke, Sunouni’s administrator, told  Esta Media Network, that earlier today an IED bomb blew up on the convoy of Commander of the Ezidxan force Haider Shasho in the northern Sinjar district.

“No casualties were reported, the vehicle was empty during the explosion but only resulted in material losses,” Chuke said.

“So far the perpetrators have not been arrested” he added.

The EzidKhan force, which is affiliated with the Peshmerga Ministry, was formed by commander Haidar Shasho.

When ISIS attacked Sinjar in August 2014, Shasho, fought the terror group near Sheikh Sharafadeen shrine on Mount Sinjar. Later on, he formed the Ezidkhan force to fight against Islamic State as well as protect the Yezidi community.
