“The tested ones will not be tested again” says Muqtada al-Sadr

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — On Friday the ceremony of ‘Unified Praying’ was kicked off in Baghdad downtown (Falah) street, and Mahmoud al-Jayashi read a message on behalf of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr for the followers saying, “we are in a complicated intersection”.

Esta Media Network has briefed the key important points of the message that al-Jayashi read on behalf of Sadr:

“Popular Mobilization forces must pull out from business and politics”

“Foreign intervention in Iraq must be ended, all militant groups shall be dissolved”

“The supreme [Marjayyah] has closed its doors to all political parties”

“Weapon should be in the hand of state only”

“The tested ones will not be tested again”

“Those who form the government must oust the occupiers by diplomacy”

Following the end of Friday’s mass praying Sadr in a tweet on his account told his followers, “Get back to your place safely”.

On Thursday, Thousands of vehicles carrying the cleric followers conveyed to Baghdad in order to attend Sadr’s mass prayer which marks his first movement since the withdrawal from the Iraqi political process, source in Baghdad reported.

Muqtada al-Sadr the leader of the Sadrist movement, has formally withdrawn from the formation of the new Iraqi government that has been postponed since the country’s latest parliamentary election in October 2021.

In the last early election the party declared its major winning by gaining 73 seats, however amidst June, he left the seats vacant following urgent withdrawal.
