Authorities shut down hotel Promoted Ba’ath regime anthem in Erbil – statement

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Authorities in Erbil shut down a hotel due to playing former Iraq regime Sadam Hussain’s anthem on Saturday.

Rozalin hotel in Erbil has promoted the Ba’ath party anthem to welcome its guests and tourists, according to the city’s authorities.

In a statement, Erbil’s governor Omed Khoshnaw said, “for conducting such an unlawful activity we closed Rozalin hotel”.

“The hotel owner will face prosecutions, what he has done is quite opposite to the Kurdistan Region government instructions and the ministry of tourism” Khoshnaw added.
