SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Bafel Jalal Talabani arrived in Baghdad late on Tuesday, according to information Esta Media Network has obtained.
Esta has learned that Talabani’s visit to Baghdad aimed to hold a series of talks and meetings with Iraq’s political party regarding the formation of the new Iraqi government that has been postponed for almost nine-month since the last early election due to political disagreement between the parties.
Nine months have passed since the last general election but still, the talks over the government formation continue among the political figures as the country is trapped inside deep political deadlock resulting from the delayance of electing the new cabinet officials.
