Turkey continues to bomb areas in Kurdistan Region

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Turkish fighter jets on Tuesday continued to bomb areas in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province, Esta Media Network reporter said.

The reporter in Duhok said Turkey’s warplanes bombed an area near Sgere village several times on Tuesday morning.

The village is located in Amedi district, northeast of Duhok.

Casualties and damages remained unclear, the reporter added.

Turkey bombed the village twice late on Monday, according to the reporter.

Recently, Turkey has intensified air strikes in the Kurdistan Region. On May 26, two children were killed in Turkish strikes on Zewa village in Bamarni sub-district, northeast of Duhok.
