SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Explosions hit two convoys supplying U.S.-led Coalition forces in Qadisiyyah and Babil provinces on Monday, according to the Iraqi military.

Iraqi Security Media Cell said an improvised explosive device hit a convoy near Afak bridge in al-Diwaniyah, transferring equipment for the Coalition forces.

Another convoy was targeted by an IED after it was detonated in Babil, the Iraqi military said in a statement.

The explosions caused no casualties or damages, the statement read.

The attack is the latest in a series of attacks on convoys supplying the Coalition forces, training the Iraqi security forces to fight Islamic State (ISIS) militants in the country.

Last week, two explosions hit two convoys supplying the Coalition forces in Baghdad and Babil and an IED hit another convoy transferring coalition equipment for Iraqi forces in Dhi Qar.

The United States blames Iran-backed militias for regular attacks on U.S. facilities and convoys in Iraq.
