SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region Security Service (Asayish) on Monday called on citizens to report them crimes that occur on social media platforms.
Asayish today announced a 24/7 local hotline number in a bid to tackle crimes that occur via social media platforms such as online threats, stalking, and cyberbullying.
These crimes have risen critically among social media users in the Kurdistan Region in which some cases led to wider problems and social-related issues.
“In case of threats against you through social media platforms call this number: 07703906223,” Asayish said in a statement.
