Two rockets targeted coalition forces in Syria, says CENTCOM

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The United States Central Command late Monday confirmed that two rockets had targeted coalition forces at Mission Support Site Conoco in northeast Syria.

“An infective rocket attack targeted coalition forces at Mission Support Site Conoco at 10:51 AM Eastern Standard Time (approximately 5:51 PM local time in Syria),” a statement released by the US Central Command read.

The attack resulted in no injuries or damages to the base or coalition property, according to the statement.

The statement also did not blame any groups or organizations for the attack.
