SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Police on Wednesday arrested three suspects for possessing counterfeit cash in Sulaimani.
The General Directorate of police said that its Department of Counterfeit Investigation put surveillance on the three suspects in Sulaimani Bazar.
The Department discovered that the suspects had $19500 counterfeit U.S. dollars, trying to use them in the market. However, they were immediately arrested by the police.
All three suspects were taken to the police department and questioned about the counterfeit money, while also further Investigations have been initiated.
