PUK President, former Iraqi PM, stress coordination and dialogue language to overcome obstacles

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Bafel Jalal Talabani met former Prime Minster of Iraq Adil Abdul-Mahdi on Tuesday in Baghdad.

Bafel Talabani who was in the Iraqi capital for a visit, met politician and former Prime Minister of the country Adil Abdul-Mahdi, in a meeting, both sides stressed coordination as well as dialogue language to overcome the obstacles and resolve the issues.

President Talabani reiterated his support for any steps that aim to reach an agreement and compromise in order to overcome the current undesired situation.

“The country needs deepening the spirit of harmony and national agreement to reach the top objectives, it is the duty of all of us to work for a tranquilized and stable future, also serve our citizens more,” Talabani told Abdul-Mahdi in the meeting.

In return, Abdul Mahdi praised Talabani’s efforts and PUK’s fair policy saying “PUK continues Mam Jalal’s wise policy and thus the real policy that country needs, the outcome will be charming”.
