SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A foreign tourist died after he fell from Safin mountain in the Kurdistan Region on Friday, Shaqlawa hospital said.
Tourist Kerd Warter, 61, climbed Safin mountain with a group of people from the Kurdistan Region on Friday morning, the hospital said in a statement.
“He fell from Safin mountain after he walked for a few kilometers,” the hospital added.
Medical teams along with the security forces transferred his body to the hospital following the incident, the statement read.
