Iraq Drilling signs deal with China’s ZPEC

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Iraq Drilling Company signed a deal with China’s Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group (ZPEC), Iraq’s state news agency reported on Monday.

Director general of the Iraq Drilling Company Basem Abdulkarim said the deal included providing support and completion of work associated with drilling and reclamation operations, INA cited him as saying.

The company had concluded contracts with many international companies, including Halliburton, Weatherford International and Schlumberger to expand the scope of its work and expedite the implementation of projects, according to Iraqi media.
