SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Czech Consulate General in Erbil hosted a Kurdish-Czech concert in Sulaimani city on Friday evening.
The concert attended by Czech Consul General Michal Svoboda and Sulaimani governor Haval Abubakir was held at Roman Theater in Sulaimani’ city.
The concert was to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Czech Republic’s representative office in the Kurdistan Region.
The European country opened its diplomatic office in the Kurdistan Region in May 2006.
Musical ensemble Bardolino and the traditional Kurdish music group, The Suhraward Group, performed for those gathered for the event.
