SULAIMANI (ESTA) — An aircraft carried out airstrikes against a vehicle of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on the border between Syria and Iraq, Iraqi media reported on Sunday.

An Iraqi local official told Shafaq News that a PMF vehicle was bombed on the Syrian border.

An Iraqi militia group said earlier on Sunday that a PMF point was bombed by the United States.

Syria’s state television SANA also reported that an “American drone” targeted a truck carrying foodstuff in the town of al-Suwayiah in Deir ez-Zor.

The strike caused no casualties, SANA said.

Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the driver of the truck was killed in the airstrike.

There was no immediate comment from the United States.
