SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A man shot and killed a girl inside the parking lot of the Kurdistan Region’s ministry of electricity in Erbil on Monday, according to police.
Spokesman of Erbil Police Hogr Aziz told Esta Media Network that police had detained the shooter and seized the gun.
“Both the girl and the shooter were employees at the ministry of electricity, and knew each other,” Aziz said.
Aziz added that the motive behind the shooting was a “social problem”.
