Kurdistan Region logs 392 COVID-19 cases, bringing total to over 112,000

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region logged 392 cases of coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to over 112,000.

The Region’s health ministry said in a statement that it had recorded 202 cases in Erbil, 143 in Sulaimani, 34 in Duhok, six in Halabja and seven in Garmian.

The ministry added that it had also registered seven deaths in Erbil, Sulaimani, Duhok and Garmian in the past 24 hours.

As many as 155 patients had recovered from the virus, the statement read.

So far, the Kurdistan Region has registered 112,695 COVID-19 cases, with 3,564 deaths and 105,451 recoveries, according to the ministry’s figures.
