SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Deputy Prime Minister of KRG Qubad Talabani welcomed Jaco Beerends, Consul General of the Netherlands in the Kurdistan Region and discussed several issues.
According to a statement issued by Qubad Talabani’s office, the Deputy Prime Minister of KRG referred to the assistance of the Netherlands in the past for the reform of the Peshmerga Ministry, economic reform and several other areas. He hoped that these cooperations would continue in the future and that relations between the two sides would see further progress.
The need to develop the skills of young entrepreneurs and innovators was discussed as an important topic and both sides agreed on developing the skills of young entrepreneurs and innovators that will contribute to the development of the economy and the private sector in the Kurdistan Region.
In the meeting, Talabani hoped that the Netherlands would assist the Kurdistan Region in the field of youth development.
