SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani met with French Consul General in the Kurdistan Region Jean Brim to discuss preparations for the French-Kurdistan Business Forum to be held in September in Paris.
In the meeting held in Erbil on Wednesday, Qubad Talabani expressed his support for the French-Kurdistan business forum in Paris and expressed the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government for all kinds of assistance and facilitation for the success of the meeting.
In response, the French Consul General pointed out the importance of the economic reforms of the DPM and called on Qubad Talabani to participate actively in the forum.
In another part of the meeting, Talabani stressed the need for French investment in the Kurdistan Region and stressed that “KRG is ready to provide all kinds of facilities for French investors to offer to investors in the country.”.
