SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Kurdistan Region vice president, Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, told a news conference that “no party can appoint the governor of Kirkuk alone، but through dialogue and agreement.”.
The vice preasident said that “all political parties in Kirkuk are trying to reach an agreement on the issue of appointing a governor for Kirkuk، and the parties are meeting among themselves.”.
He stressed that “the PUK insists that the governor be the PUK and expects to reach an agreement with the political parties.”.
