The Kirkuk provincial council meeting has been postponed

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The new Kirkuk provincial council meeting was scheduled to be held at 1:00 pm today, but did not start due to disagreements between the parties.

The meeting has not yet started due to differences of opinion on how to conduct it, Esta Media Network correspondent in Kirkuk reported.

According to him, “the Arab side demands that the meeting be closed and guests and the media do not participate, but the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) faction demands that the meeting be open and guests and the media can broadcast.”.
