SULAIMANI – (ESTA) “One Hashdi Shaabi fighter was killed and eight others wounded in an explosion at the Kalsu military base in the north of the Babylon Governorate،” the Iraqi Security Media Cell said.
The Iraqi security media cell said in a statement that “an explosion occurred at the Kalsu military base in Babylon at 1:00 pm last night، killing one Hashd Shaabi fighter and wounding eight others.”
The statement said that the Babylon Civil Defense and other parties tried to prevent the spread of the fire and control it.
A high-level technical committee of civil defense and other relevant groups has been formed to investigate the incident.
