SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The spokeswoman of the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) said that the sample voting cards for the Kurdistan parliamentary election are ready, and the experimental election will be held in 180 polling stations.
“Five samples of voting cards have been prepared for the Kurdistan parliamentary election in Sulaimani, Erbil, Duhok and Halabja, and one for special voting.” IHEC spokeswoman Jumana Ghalai told Esta Media Network.
“The Election Commission will hold the first experimental elections on April 16 through technical committees under the supervision of Abbas Fatlawy, head of the election administration.” she said.
Also, she added that “there are 180 polling stations for the experimental election, seven of which are for special voting, which will be held in the provincial election offices in the Kurdistan region, and the other 173 stations are for general voting.”.
