SULAIMANI – (ESTA) After the court settled the appeals, the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) approved the results of the provincial elections.
Earlier, Ali Faisal, Secretary General of the Council of Commissioners, said, “We have sent 249 complaints to the Election Judiciary Board out of 329 complaints.”.
All of the appeals were examined by the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), after which they were lawfully processed at the Electoral Tribunal.
On December 16, 2023, at seven in the morning, the Iraqi provincial council elections took place. The results were declared the same evening, December 28, 2023.
