PUK president met the world’s shortest man

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) president met with Afshin Qadirzadeh, the world’s shortest man, in Dabashan.

In a meeting which attended First Lady of Iraq, Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmad and Omar Jabbar, president of the Kurdistan dwarf Association, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) president Bafel Jalal Talabani warmly welcomed the world’s shortest man, Afshin Qadirzadeh to Sulaimani and he said, “We appreciate the position and abilities of dwarf people; you are playing a positive and influential role in different areas of life”.

“PUK supports the rights and legitimate demands of the disabled and we have full faith in a modern law that protects their rights,” PUK President said.

Also, he added “PUK welcomes and supports any step aimed at serving this important section of society and trying to ensure a more decent life for them”.
