Turkey’s Minister of Interior Affairs confirms ‘terrorist’ attack in Ankara

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Minister of Interior Affairs of Turkey has officially confirmed that at approximately 09.30 a.m., two individuals identified as “terrorists” deliberately targeted the entrance gate of the General Directorate of Security within the Ministry of Interior Affairs located in Ankara, and executed a bomb attack on Sunday.

One of the terrorists detonated an explosive device, resulting in his own demise, according to Ali Yerlikaya, Turkey’s Minister of Interior Affairs.

The second terrorist, however, was effectively incapacitated. Consequently, two police officers sustained minor injuries as a consequence of this incident, he added.
