SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) political bureau is set to convene today under the auspices of the party’s president Bafel Talabani.
According to information obtained by Esta, Talabani chairs an ordinary meeting of his party’s political bureau in Sulaimani.
During the meeting, Talabani’s recent visit to Iran will be highlighted, where he held multiple high-ranking meetings with officials in Teheran last week.
They will also discuss Talabani’s recent visit to Iraq’s Baghdad, including the current state of the Kurdistan Region’s people’s livelihood and the forthcoming PUK congress this month.
