Senior PUK delegation meets with rival KDP in Erbil

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A senior delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is set to meet with the rival Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on Sunday.

“The meeting will be the continuer of the previous meeting between the two sides,” said Salar Sarhad, a member of the PUK’s Kurdistani relations board.

He also revealed that the meeting will focus on the issues of elections, and the internal situation of the Kurdistan Region, including Erbil-Baghdad relationships.

Esta Media Network has learned that Bafel Talabani leads the PUK delegation, with the meeting taking place in Erbil’s Pirmam resort.
