SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani on Tuesday met with former Iraqi President Barham Salih in Baghdad, his office said in a statement.
“During the meeting, they discussed the overall political and economic conditions at the national level,” the statement read.
They also “reviewed the most important challenges facing the executive work, and the levels of progress in achieving the goals of government programs in accordance with service and economic priorities and the needs of citizens throughout Iraq.”
The statement did not offer further information regarding the meeting.
