PUK President, newly-appointed chief for Peshmerga Intelligence meet

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Jalal Talabani on Tuesday met with the newly-appointed chief for the Peshmerga Intelligence, Polo Shallaw Ali Askari, in Dabashan.

At the outset of the meeting, Talabani extended his warmest congratulations to Askari, wishing him all success in his duty, according to a statement released by Talabani’s press office.

For his part, Asakari thanked Talabani for his continued support, saying “We make every possible effort to strengthen the Peshermga force.”
