KDP leader urges Kurdistan ruling parties to hold dialogue

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani on Thursday urged dialogue between the Kurdistan Region ruling parties.

“I call on the politburo of both the KDP and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) to sit and prepare the ground for bigger meetings,” He said.

Barzani made the remarks amid the grand opening of the National Barzani Memorial in the Barzan area of Erbil province which was attended by senior Iraqi and Kurdish officials.

“There is a willingness to resolve the disputes between Erbil and Baghdad,” He added.
