KRG begins to distribute civil servants’ April salaries next Sunday

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Wednesday announced it will start distributing civil servants’ April salaries next Sunday.

Ten days have passed since the new month of May began, but civil servants in the Kurdistan Region have yet to receive their April salaries.

The KRG Finance Ministry eventually announced it is due to start distributing the civil servants’ salary on the upcoming Sunday, according to an official announcement.

Salary distribution begins on May 14th, 2023, with the KRG Ministry of Health employees will be the first to receive their salaries, and ends on May, 31st, by Peshmerga pension.

The announcement came as Baghdad on Tuesday sent 400 billion dinars to the KRG, pledging to send an additional 400 billion dinars next week.
