SULAIMANI (ESTA) — President of Iraq Latif Rashid hosted a meeting, including Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the two Deputy Premiers, and several Ministers and officials on Tuesday.
The meeting took place at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, according to a statement released by the Presidency’s office.
“The general situation in addition to the recent developments in politics, in security and the economy, and the environmental and service conditions related matters in Iraq were discussed during the meeting,” the statement said.
“The meeting placed emphasis on the importance of promoting understanding and giving priority to the citizens’ interests,” the statement added.
All participants agreed upon the need to approve the federal budget, so as to meet Iraqi people’s needs and facilitate the implementation of the procedures aimed to improve services and carry out the governmental program, according to the statement.
