SULAIMANI (ESTA) — There is no personal dispute between Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani and Parliamentary Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi, the state-run INA said on Saturday.

The INA’s report came following rumors circulating via social media that there is mediation by political leaders to reconcile the two senior officials.

INA cited a statement from Halbousi’s office which deny the rumors, stressing that there is no dispute that requires such actions.

“We deny what some social media circulated about the mediation by political leaders on the grounds of reconciliation between the Speaker of Parliament and the Prime Minister,” Halbousi’s media office said.

“There is no personal dispute that requires mediation or reconciliation,” it added.
