PUK President, Hadi Al-Amiri stress addressing Kurdistan-Baghdad problems

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani on Thursday met with Hadi Al-Amiri, the head of Al-Fateh alliance, emphasizing resolving problems between Kurdistan and Baghdad.

The two leaders in Baghdad discussed the latest developments, and stressed understanding and addressing the problems on the constitution foundation, Talabani’s media office said.

Talks also focused on the problems between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, where the two sides laid emphasis on unifying efforts for a stable and brighter future, it added.

PUK’s Talabani accompanied by a delegation earlier today separately met with the leader of the Hikma movement Ammar Al-Hakim.

Talabani and Hakim discussed Kurdistan and Iraq issues, stressing enduring dialogue and understanding to offer further service to people and supporting the reform agenda, the office separately announced.
