Talabani says the constitution must be the deciding point of the issues

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President, Bafel Talabani, on Thursday said the constitution must be the deciding point of the issues. 

Talabani received a delegation from the united coalition of Anbar in Sulaimani’s Dabshan area, according to a readout from Talabani’s office.

“In a meeting attended Shalaw Kosrat Rasoul, the latest pollical changes were discussed,” read the readout, adding that they stressed the enduring the coordination and cooperation to succeed in the political process and implementation of the government agenda “for reform and offering further service.”

Moreover, the readout added that developing “historic” ties, especially with Anbar’s political forces and figures was stressed.

Speaking on the political situation of the country and the latest developments Talabani said “Our efforts to reach a fundamental permanent solution must be persisted,” he said, according to the readout.
