SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) deputy prime minister, Qubad Talabani, on Tuesday met with the head of al-Azm alliance, Muthana al-Samrai, in Baghdad.
The KRG deputy prime minister’s office said that Talabani met Samari in the Iraqi capital, where they stressed a comprehensive agreement on the foundation of the constitution between Erbil and Baghdad.
Both sides agreed to give an opportunity to the incumbent Iraqi government headed by Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani to address the issues, particularly between Erbil and Baghdad, according to the statement.
The office also added that the KRG deputy prime minister pointed out “The main demand of all Iraqi people including the Kurdistan Region is amending the situation of the services,” he said, according to the office.
“The participants’ parties in the Iraqi government must offer further support to the government so that it can fulfill people’s demands,” he added.
