Turkish, Iranian top diplomats meet in Ankara

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Turkish and Iranian top diplomats will discuss regional and international issues on Tuesday in Ankara.

The semi-official Iranian news agency of Tasnim reported that Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian had paid a visit to Ankara, heading a political Iranian delegation.

The Iranian top diplomat is expected to hold talks with Turkish officials about the political, economic, and cultural relations between the two neighbors as well as the major regional and international issues, according to Tasnim.

In the meantime, Ankara separately said that Abdollahian will meet Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. They are expected to address bilateral issues, said the foreign ministry.
