SULAIMANI (ESTA) — At least 10 workers were killed and four others wounded in a “terrorist” attack on three buses near an oil field in Syria’s Deir Ezzor, state news agency SANA reported on Friday.

“Four others have been wounded in the terrorist attack that targeted three buses transporting workers from al-Taim oil field in Deir Ezzor province,” it added.

“The attack began with explosive devices that went off as the buses drove by, and then the group’s militants shot at them,” Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, told AFP.

So far no group claimed responsibility for the attack.
