Iraq’s President, Chinese Ambassador stress strengthening bilateral ties

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi President Latif Rashid welcomed Chinese Ambassador Cui Wei in the Iraqi capital where the official stressed strengthening the bilateral ties on Sunday.

Baghdad’s presidential palace hosted a meeting between President Rashid and Ambassador Wei, the state news agency (INA) reported.

During their meeting, the sides highlighted bonds of friendship and cooperation between Iraq and China.  The Iraqi President affirmed the ties of friendship and aspects of cooperation between both countries.

President Rashid laid emphasis on improving the relations for the good of the two nations, according to the INA.
