Parliament summons Foreign Minister over Iranian, Turkish attacks

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi parliament has decided to summon the Foreign Minister to discuss Turkish and Iranian attacks, Iraqi media on Monday reported.

The Iraq parliament has decided to summon the Foreign Minister of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, aiming at discussing Turkish and Iranian attacks that target the Kurdistan Region.

The decision was followed by a request from the parliament’s committee of foreign relations. The session will take place in the next week, according to the Iraqi media.

The Minister must give clarifications upon the attacks that violate Iraq’s sovereignty, the committee asked.

It also wants Hussein to demonstrate the steps and plans of the Ministry to deter the attacks.
