Iraqi Foreign Ministry to repatriate bodies of six Iraqis who died in Turkey’s Bodrum

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraq will send a delegation to Turkey to repatriate the bodies of six Iraqis who died in a traffic accident in Bodrum, southwestern the country, said the spokesperson to the foreign ministry on Friday.  

Spokesperson to the Iraqi foreign ministry Ahmad Sahaf said, Iraq’s embassy in Ankara dispatched a delegation to take the required measure, aimed at repatriating bodies of Iraqis who recently died in Bodrum.

Six Iraqi citizens recently died while making a holiday in the port city of Bodrum, south-western Turkey, inside a traffic collision on a safari vehicle after they were flipped.

“The bodies are in Turkey currently, Iraq’s embassy put all efforts to repatriate the bodies,” the spokesperson said.
