Head of Al-Fatah Alliance refuses to run for Iraq’s premiership

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — the Head of Al-Fatah Alliance  Hadi al-Amiri announced in an official statement on Monday that he will not run for Iraq’s premiership.

One of the leading figures of the Shiite coordination framework Hadi al-Amiri explained in the latest statement saying, “I am not a candidate for premiership”.

Adding that, what is matter for him is “preserving the coordination unity”, and “Supporting any candidate that the coordination brothers consent about it”.

In the past few days ago, rumors were circulated around the Iraqi social media that Hadi al-Amiri is one of the candidates running for the premiership, and the coordination has two candidates for that position, the other one is the head of the state of law coalition Nouri al-Maliki.
