Kurdistan Region Deputy Premier meets delegation of British home office

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Deputy of the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Qubad Talabani met a delegation of the British home office on Thursday, according to a statement published by Talabani’s media office. 

Talabani’s meeting with the British delegation aimed to discuss various topics including the ways to face-off youths migration, criminal networks as well as human and drug trafficking, it said.

The most effective way to prevent youths migration in the Kurdistan Region is to develop the economy, strengthen the private sector as well as provide further job opportunities, said deputy premier Qubad Talabani amid the meeting with the delegation, the statement read.

The meeting elaborated on the necessity of international assistance to confront criminal networks, drug, and human trafficking. Deputy premier stressed that the finest plan to encounter the criminal networks and prevent youths migration, is to flourish ‘economy’, it added.
