SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The former head of Duhok’s municipality, as well as two other employees, have been detained over the ‘Corruption’ scandal, Esta correspondent said on Monday.
Esta’s correspondent reported in Duhok that three-person allegedly detained including the former head of the city’s municipality over-involvement with corruption.
Meanwhile, a few days ago another government employee was detained in the general directorate of Duhok’s electricity distribution, alleged by stealing 290 million Iraqi dinars.
Numerous other employees of the directorate have been detained over the same allegations, according to the reporter. After it was found out that 290 million Iraqi dinars vanished.
