Turkey bombs areas in northeast of Duhok (video)

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Turkish fighter jets bombed several areas in the Kurdistan Region’s Deraluk sub-district late on Wednesday, Esta Media Network reporter said.

Turkey’s warplanes carried out air strikes against targets near the villages of Guharz and Balava in Deraluk sub-district, northeast of Duhok, Esta’s reporter said.

“The air strikes caused fears among the villagers as the bombing sites were close to them,” he added.

Turkey intermittently carries out air strikes against suspected positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region.

On Saturday, Turkish drones bombed two vehicles in Tutaqal village in northwest of Sulaimani and Rostam Judi refugee camp in Makhmour, southwest of Erbil.

Three PKK fighters and two civilians were killed in the drone strike in Tutaqal village. Five people were wounded in the strike on the refugee camp.
