SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Peshmerga Shorish Ismael met with Iraqi Minister of Defense Jumaa Inad Saadun in Sulaimani, a statement said.
The Iraqi defense minister visited the Kurdistan Region through Sulaimani international airport, the ministry of Peshmerga said in the statement.
Both sides discussed issues related to the military colleges and joint training of the Peshmerga and Iraqi army during the meeting, the statement read.
They stressed coordination between the Peshmerga and Iraqi military to protect the security of Iraq and the Region, according to the statement.
