Fire erupts at judicial council’s building in Erbil

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A fire erupted at the building of the Kurdistan Region’s judicial council in Erbil on Saturday, without causing casualties, Esta Media Network reporter said.

Esta’s reporter said a fire broke out on the second floor of the judicial council’s building in Erbil, but it was soon controlled by the civil defense teams.

In a statement, the judicial council said the fire erupted in a room of a judge on the second floor.

“There were no casualties, only some damages,” the judicial council added, stating that it would form a committee to investigate the incident.
