SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Three members of one family were killed in a Turkish drone strike in Qamishli on Tuesday, Kurdish Asayish in northeast Syria said.

The General Command of Internal Security Forces – North and East Syria confirmed that a Turkish drone conducted a strike against a vehicle carrying members of Kulo family in al-Hilaliyah neighborhood in Qamishli.

Three members of the family, Yousif Kulo, Mazloum Kulo and Mohammad Mahmoud Kulo, were killed in the strike, it said in a statement.

Earlier, media outlets in northeast Syria reported the death of three civilians in a Turkish drone strike in Qamishli.

In October, Turkey conducted two separate strikes against Kurdish fighters and civilians in Kobane.

The drone strikes killed three Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and two civilians, according to Kurdish authorities in northeast Syria.

Turkey views the SDF and the People’s Protection Units (YPG) as “terrorist organizations”.

Turkish forces have launched three incursions in the last five years, seizing hundreds of kilometers of border strip and pushing around 30 km (20 miles) into northern Syria.
